This lesson is a detailed and robust training on the e-learning software, Articulate, which is used by the majority of online or blended course instructors here at WesternU. For this lesson you will want to have a pen and paper ready so that you can take notes, and this will likely be a lesson that you return to again-and-again to learn more about Articulate as you are developing your e-learning course.
Since this is a rather long lesson with six robust modules, you may want to take you time with this lesson rather than trying to fully absorb all of this information at once.
Intended Learning Outcomes
- Construct e-learning modules by using Articulate software.
- Compose interactive engage slides using Engage.
- Prepare online quizzes using Quizmaker.
Take your presentations to the next level with Studio by Articulate. WesternU has multiple software licenses for Articulate software. For this lesson we will be reviewing the more common Articulate attributes found on campus, but you will want to speak directly to your department regarding details and specifics for the Articulate software that is available to you.
Articulate Studio and PowerPoint: an e‑learning match made in heaven! Build your e-learning courses in PowerPoint, and with the embedded Studio ribbon you can easily add assessments, interactions, and more to your slide-based e‑learning content. When it’s time to share your course you can publish directly to the internet, or add the course to Blackboard or another Learning Management System.
